Welcome to League of Legends Week on Twitch!
Twitch is celebrating one of the most popular games on the web and its talented streamers this week.
Twitch will introduce the League Live Tracker extension for all streams that showcase League of Legends gameplay on Thursday, February 20. You can find the extension here.
Once activated, the League Live Tracker allows viewers to see live match data of the game being played. You can check the streamer’s scoreboard, their build, the builds of their teammates and opponents, and all their stats. The extension also features a match history that shows the order in which the streamer’s items were purchased.
This highly requested feature is perfect for the upcoming debut of League of Legends’ Clash game mode, which will take place on Saturday, February 22 and Sunday, February 23.
In addition to the League Live Tracker, Twitch will host the Twitch Rivals Streamer Showdown during League of Legends Week. The tournament will feature 16 teams competing in a head-to-head, round-robin format.
Well-known personalities such as Sneaky, scarra, and Tyler1 will be battling it out for fame, glory, and a prize pool of $75,000. By supporting your favorite streamer, you also have a chance to win prizes of your own.
Viewers of the Twitch Rivals Streamer Showdown can earn free Clash tickets to opening weekend tournaments through Drops. All you have to do is link your Riot Games account to your Twitch account and watch participating streams. If you receive a Clash ticket via Drops, it will be added to your inventory by Friday, February 21.
