Exciting News: Mid Laner Could Be Switching to Bot Lane in LoL Patch 14.10

Riot Games Announces Major Changes to Corki in Patch 14.10

Corki, a long-standing favorite in the competitive League of Legends scene, is set to undergo significant changes in Patch 14.10. Fans may soon bid farewell to the familiar sight of Corki farming for extended periods and only joining team fights sporadically.

Overhauling Corki’s Abilities

In a recent video release by Riot Games developer David “Phreak” Turley, details of a substantial rework for Corki were unveiled. Among the changes is the removal of Corki’s iconic ability, The Package, which functions similarly to Rumble’s ultimate. Additionally, Corki will receive a significant 15 percent bonus true damage boost, including Sheen enhancements.

Ability Adjustments

Several of Corki’s abilities are also getting a makeover in Patch 14.10. Phosphorus Bomb will see improvements in landing speed, attack damage ratios, cooldown, and mana cost. Valkyrie will undergo visual updates and damage buffs, while Gatling Gun will receive adjustments to cooldown, shred cap, and rate. Corki’s ultimate, Missile Barrage, will introduce new mechanics, including additional ammo with leveling and refunds on champion auto attacks.

To balance the changes, adjustments will be made to Corki’s ultimate ammo rate, bonus AD scaling, and mana cost, ensuring fair gameplay.

Moreover, Corki’s base statistics are receiving adjustments, including a nerf to base AD, increased attack speed, and improved durability.

The aim of these changes is to redefine Corki’s role as a non-traditional marksman in the bot lane, enhancing his early-game impact and catering to a more aggressive playstyle. According to Phreak, the motivation behind these alterations is to address the perceived “boredom” associated with watching Corki in action.

Players can expect these changes to debut on the PBE before their implementation on the live servers of League of Legends.
