Can we expect GTA 6 to release on PC?

Grand Theft Auto 6: Will It Be Available on PC?

The hype for Grand Theft Auto 6 is reaching new heights with the release of the game’s first trailer. One question that many fans have is whether or not GTA 6 will be available on PC.

Rockstar Games and PC Releases

To understand what might happen with GTA 6, we can look at Rockstar Games’ approach to previous titles like GTA 5 and Red Dead Redemption 2. In the past decade, Rockstar had a certain way of doing things.

PC Gamers Will Have to Wait

Unfortunately, we have confirmation that GTA 6 will not be released on PC at launch. It will only be available on PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series consoles. While this may disappoint PC gamers who have been eagerly waiting for the game, the delay is meant to ensure that the PC port is well-optimized and free of performance bugs.

Historical Release Strategy

Historically, Rockstar has released its games for consoles before bringing them to PC. This was the case with GTA 5, which was first released on PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 in 2013 and later came to PC in 2015. The same strategy was used for Red Dead Redemption 2, which arrived on PS4 and Xbox One in 2018 and came to PC in 2019.

Looking to the Future

While it may be disappointing for PC gamers, there is hope that GTA 6 will eventually come to PC. However, it won’t happen in 2025.
