Will GTA 6 be available on Xbox One and PlayStation 4?
Since the release of two console generations by both Microsoft Xbox and PlayStation, fans are curious whether GTA 6 will be playable on current-gen consoles as well as Xbox One and PlayStation 4. However, there is limited official information regarding this.

Technological limitations

Rockstar Games and Take-Two Interactive have confirmed that at launch, GTA 6 will only be available on PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series devices.

The open-world nature of the GTA franchise requires the game to be optimized for new-gen consoles. Comparing the hardware of PS4 and PS5, it’s evident that the power difference would greatly impact the performance of GTA 6 on PS4.
