His standout moment came during the second round of the PGL Copenhagen 2024 Elimination Stage against Heroic on Vertigo. EliGE recorded a +17 kill/death differential, matching his best individual performance on a map since joining Complexity. This remarkable display led the team to a thrilling victory after two overtimes.

EliGE’s impact extended beyond the scoreboard. The Complexity star showcased his skill with several crucial plays that secured vital rounds for his team. Noteworthy among these was a jaw-dropping blind spray that eliminated three Heroic players charging up A Ramp during overtime. Complexity’s Path to the Playoffs
With this victory, Complexity finds itself on the verge of reaching the playoffs. The NA roster now has three consecutive opportunities to win a single best-of-three match to progress to the next stage. Historically, North American teams have struggled to make it to the playoffs at Majors. Since the resumption of Majors after the COVID break, only Team Liquid managed to reach the playoffs at BLAST Paris 2023. However, the Americas region has already secured a few more slots at the upcoming Major.
Complexity Returns to Major Competition
This Major represents Complexity’s first foray into Counter-Strike Majors since before the COVID pandemic. The organization’s last appearance at a Major was in 2019 at the StarLadder Berlin Major, where they were swiftly eliminated. This result prompted owner Jason Lake to publicly criticize the roster at the time. Strikingly, Complexity donned throwback jerseys from that period in their victory over Heroic today.
