Who is on Sinatraa’s new VALORANT roster?

Jay “Sinatraa” Won Returns to Competitive VALORANT in Last Chance Qualifier

Streamer PROD announced on January 11 that Jay “Sinatraa” Won will be making his professional VALORANT comeback at the upcoming VALORANT Challengers North America last chance qualifier from January 17 to 22.

Sinatraa will be playing alongside PROD in a team called Untamable Beasts. The team has the opportunity to secure one of the two spots available in the secondary VALORANT league in North America through the qualifier.

Untamable Beasts: The New VALORANT Team with Sinatraa

Joining Sinatraa and PROD in Untamable Beasts are former OpTic Gaming star Marved, who has temporarily put his career on hold and hasn’t joined any franchised teams for the upcoming 2023 season. The team also includes former Sentinels player Jared “zombs” Gitlin and popular streamer dizzy. Zombs has been on Sentinels’ bench since April 2022 and announced his retirement from professional VALORANT in November 2022, indicating his move to a content creation role within Sentinels.

While the inclusion of Marved and Zombs in Untamable Beasts is noteworthy, Sinatraa remains the focus of attention. The former Overwatch League star transitioned to VALORANT in April 2020 and quickly established himself as one of the game’s top players. However, he was placed on the inactive roster in March 2021 following sexual assault accusations made by his former girlfriend Cleo Hernandez.

Moreover, in May 2021, Riot Games suspended Sinatraa for six months for failing to fully cooperate with the investigation into the sexual assault claims. Although he expressed his readiness to return to professional play in April 2022, he never signed with any team and continued to work as a content creator.

The VALORANT Challengers North America last chance qualifier will see two teams from the open qualifier, which began on January 9, join the secondary league in North America. Notable teams participating in NA Challengers One include The Guard, FaZe Clan, TSM, and G2 Esports.
