According to a report by Upcomer, T1 is in discussions to add Johann “seven” Hernandez, a substitute player for 100 Thieves, to its VALORANT roster.

Seven’s Potential Signing and Background

T1 is reportedly working on signing seven, who is currently a substitute player for 100 Thieves. However, the official announcement has not been made yet. Seven joined 100 Thieves in September after their impressive performance at Masters Berlin, where they finished in the top four. While seven watched from the sidelines, the team decided to use Aaron “b0i” Thao in the VCT North America Last Chance Qualifier.

Interest in Former 100 Thieves Player “steel” and Other Trials

T1 has shown interest in other players from 100 Thieves as well. Joshua “steel” Nissan recently joined T1 as the new in-game leader. Steel played a crucial role in 100 Thieves’ victory at First Strike North America in December 2020. With his years of experience in CS:GO, he aims to help T1 improve their performance in North America. T1 has also reportedly trialed Matthew “Cryocells” Panganiban from the SoaR roster. Moreover, Timothy “Autimatic” Ta from T1 has been absent from recent practices, indicating that T1 may need to sign one more player before the 2022 season.
