Saadhak Enters Free Agency, Potentially Disrupting VALORANT Esports with Bold Move

Top VALORANT In-Game Leader, Saadhak, Becomes Free Agent

After an eventful season, one of the most talented VALORANT in-game leaders in VCT Americas is now available on the offseason market.

Matias “Saadhak” Delipetro has confirmed that his contract with LOUD has expired, making him one of the biggest free agents for 2024. He is currently considering offers from other teams for the upcoming year, while also exploring the possibility of a contract extension with LOUD.

Saadhak’s decision holds significant weight in VCT Americas due to his consistent performances as an in-game leader. His leadership has played a key role in LOUD’s success, especially in nurturing young talents like Cauan “cauanzin” Pereira and Arthur “tuyz” Vieira.

This season, the Brazilian team maintained their dominance in the VALORANT world, despite dealing with internal issues during the latter half of the season. They emerged victorious in VCT Americas and secured top-three finishes in two international events: second place at the 2023 LOCK//IN LAN and third place at Champions 2023.

However, they faced challenges at Masters Tokyo, coinciding with reports of strained relationships between the team and star duelist Erick “aspas” Santos. It was rumored that the relationship had completely deteriorated and the phenom, aged 20, would not be continuing with LOUD in the following year.

Aspas later confirmed his free agent status on September 11, expressing his openness to any offers. If both Saadhak and aspas leave LOUD this offseason, the organization would face a significant rebuilding task. Despite this, LOUD has consistently been a top competitor in the global VALORANT scene over the past two years.

With the departure of their star player and reliable in-game leader, LOUD will need to build a new core around their young talents to continue their winning streak into the future.
