Disguised Toast expresses fears of Cloud9 poaching his star player following yay’s departure

Twitch Star Disguised Toast Concerned About Cloud9 Acquiring Joseph “clear” Allen

Twitch streamer Disguised Toast expressed his worry that Cloud9 may try to acquire his duelist, Joseph “clear” Allen, who he believes is one of the top players in the NA Challengers League. This comes after Cloud9 announced their mutual parting with yay due to underwhelming performance.

Cloud9’s Search for a Fifth Player

Cloud9 recently confirmed their split with yay following their disappointing showing at VCT LOCK//IN. Reports by journalist Max Katz and shed light on the role issues within the team. The organization is currently conducting trials to find a new fifth player, and head coach Matthew “mCe” Elmore acknowledged the possibility of more than one player being replaced.

Disguised Toast’s Concerns

Despite Jimmy “Marved” Nguyen being one of the players under trial, Disguised Toast fears that Cloud9 might turn to his teammate, clear, as a replacement for yay. Disguised Toast believes that clear is the best duelist in the NA Challengers League and questions where else Cloud9 would look for a replacement.

Highlighting clear’s Abilities

In a recent livestream, Disguised Toast talked highly of clear’s gameplay. However, statistically, clear falls behind other players on the Disguised team. According to VLR.gg, clear has an average rating of 1.06, while players like Genghsta, XXiF, and Exalt have higher ratings. Nevertheless, clear does have the second-highest ACS on the team and proved his skill with a one-vs-one clutch against OREsports.

Clear has been a part of the Disguised team since January, when Disguised Toast picked him up along with four other players. Currently, Disguised has a 2-1 record in the NA Challengers League and is considered one of the favorites to qualify for the Mid-Season Invitational.
