Twitch to introduce monthly recaps for users

Twitch to Provide Monthly Viewer Summaries

Twitch, the popular livestreaming platform, will now be sending monthly recaps to viewers, sharing detailed information about their viewership and engagement metrics. This update comes as Twitch continues to make changes and improvements to its services for both streamers and viewers.

What to Expect in the Viewer Summaries

According to the provided infographics, Twitch users will be able to see their specific statistics for favorite streamers. These summaries will include information such as total watch time, top three used emotes, and total chats sent over the course of the month. Viewers will also have insights into the number of streams they watched out of the streamer’s total broadcasts.

Additionally, viewers will be able to track their progression toward subscriber badges and see how close they are to reaching the next subscriber benchmark. Users who frequently create clips of the channel will have the opportunity to review their clips and see which ones performed the best. Other elements, such as channel points and subscriber percentage, will also be included in the monthly recap.

How Will the Summaries be Sent?

It is currently unclear how Twitch plans to send out these viewer summaries. It is possible that they will only be sent to users who are subscribed to partnered or affiliate streamers. There is also no information available about whether users will have to opt in or opt out of receiving the summaries.
