Tfue ends 5-month retirement, returns to streaming alongside Kick

Tfue Returns to Streaming on Kick

Tfue, the popular streamer and former Fortnite pro, is making a comeback. However, instead of returning to Twitch, he has decided to stream on Kick, a new platform that has been giving Twitch a run for its money. Kick has been openly challenging Twitch since its launch in October 2022, and is even credited with pushing Twitch to improve its subscription splits to prevent streamers from defecting to Kick. This move by Tfue is another blow to Twitch’s dominance in the streaming world.

Tfue’s Announcement and the Freedom of Kick

Tfue’s announcement about his return to streaming was classic Tfue style. He made the announcement while chugging a Modelo and playing the theme song of the iconic 1990s Chicago Bulls team. It’s clear that Tfue hasn’t lost his trademark “bro” vibe during his time away from streaming. With his new contract with Kick, Tfue now has the freedom to do pretty much whatever he wants on the platform.

Kick’s Success in Attracting Top Streamers

Tfue joining Kick is just one of the many victories the platform has achieved in its battle for streaming supremacy. It has previously signed big names like xQc, soccer insider Fabrizio Romano, and chess grandmaster Hikaru. These signings have helped Kick gain significant momentum in its quest to disrupt the livestreaming industry.

Tfue’s Challenges and the Burnout

Throughout his career, Tfue has faced various challenges. One notable incident was his legal dispute with his former team, FaZe Clan, regarding sponsorship deals and the team’s role as his agent. Additionally, in June, Tfue announced that he would be taking a break from streaming, citing burnout and a need to escape from work. His return to the streaming world on Kick marks a fresh start for him.
