Streamer Banned from Twitch for Doxxing Alleged Stalker Despite Pleas for Assistance

Twitch Streamer dellor Reportedly Banned for Doxxing a User

Twitch streamer dellor was banned from the streaming platform on Oct. 16 for sharing personal information (doxxing) about a user.

Later, on Oct. 18, he admitted in a tweet shared by streamer Jake Lucky that he made a “stupid” mistake. He revealed that he lashed out to defend himself against stalkers before receiving a Twitch ban. Dellor even detailed several instances of being stalked.

“I’ve been stalked and harassed for 4 years. Swatted 3 times. Held up at gunpoint,” dellor said. “I’ve reported all incidents to the police and FBI and have yet to receive any help. … It’s unfair that my life is being ruined … despite pursuing all legal avenues to protect myself.”

Many personalities and users have expressed sympathy for the streamer.

“Doxxing is never the answer, but it’s unfortunate to see Dellor caught in such a difficult situation where even local law enforcement can’t provide real help,” Lucky said.

Doxxing involves publicly sharing someone’s private information to harm them. This behavior violates Twitch’s policy and led to dellor’s ban.

“I knew it was stupid, but I went ahead with it anyway,” he confessed in the video.

The streamer has previously spoken out against stalkers. A few weeks ago, his house was reportedly egged while he was streaming.

This isn’t the first time Twitch has banned dellor. In 2019, when he primarily streamed Overwatch, he received a temporary ban for self-harming. The length of his current ban remains uncertain.
