The new VALORANT agent Iso has been revealed, adding to the already diverse agent selection in the game. Riot Games is introducing the 24th agent, who is designed for precision and aims to cater to players who excel in aiming and leading their team.
In September, character producer John Goscicki hinted at the new agent in the State of the Agents developer blog, describing them as an agent of precision that would appeal to ego peekers who like to aim down mid and secure picks for their team.
On October 19, all the information about the new agent Iso was finally released. This duelist is built for players who emphasize precision and confidence.

VALORANT abilities for Agent 24, Iso
Iso’s ability kit includes:
(E) Double Tap
- Start a focus timer. Once completed, enter a flow state during which downed enemies you kill or damage generate an energy orb. Shooting this orb grants you a shield that absorbs one instance of damage from any source.
(Q) Undercut
- Equip a molecular bolt. Fire to throw it forward, applying a brief fragile to all players
it touches. The bolt can pass through solid objects, including walls.
(C) Contingency
- Equip to assemble prismatic energy. Fire to push an indestructible wall of energy forward that blocks bullets.
(X / Ultimate) Kill Contract
- Equip an interdimensional arena. Fire to hurl a column of energy through the battlefield, pulling you and the first enemy hit into the arena. You and your opponent duel to the death.
Double Tap and Kill Contract are designed for confident players, but Contingency is a valuable utility as well. It can be used to cut off angles and provide safe passage onto a site.
VALORANT‘s Iso character bio and lore
Iso, a Chinese fixer for hire, is a lethal assassin with a deadly reputation. He is described as a “bulletproof wizard” who can eliminate an entire squad with a single round. His nickname is “The Dead Lilac,” referencing the purple flash seen before death, which ties to his Kill Contract ability.
In the reveal trailer, Iso eliminates the Kingdom targets and is then tasked with a new mission: taking out Omen. Iso has previously eliminated everyone connected to Kingdom’s research into a mysterious substance.
