KSI’s Upcoming Boxing Match Gets a Fresh Opponent

Internet Personalities Switch to In-Ring Boxing Matches

Recently, many internet personalities have jumped on the trend of participating in boxing matches against each other. One streamer, KSI, has seen great success in this new form of content. However, he has faced several opponents canceling their fights, including Dillon Danis.

Dillon Danis Pulls Out of Fight

Misfits Boxing, the event organizer, announced today that Danis withdrew from the fight due to being underprepared, lacking a coach, and potentially struggling with weight issues. This left KSI without an opponent just 10 days before the event, which had already incurred significant expenses. Nevertheless, KSI confirmed via Twitter that he would still be fighting on January 14.

New Opponent Found: FaZe Temperrr

Thankfully, KSI quickly found a replacement opponent, FaZe Temperrr. KSI shared an image on Twitter to announce the new matchup, with Temperrr having been training with Misfits Boxing for the past year. Temperr’s YouTube videos showcase his kickboxing training and competitive nature beyond esports.

Troublesome Cancellations in Streaming Fighting Scene

The streaming fighting scene has experienced multiple cancellations in recent years, even with notable figures like KSI and Jake Paul having difficulty securing opponents. These issues range from injuries to weight problems, which is disappointing for fans.

However, fans can rest easy knowing that the first scheduled fight of the year will still take place with the new opponent stepping up.
