Sportz Interactive Expands Portfolio with UFC Partnership in India

Sportz Interactive (SI), a leading sports technology and content solutions company, has entered into a new client relationship with Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC), the world’s premier mixed martial arts organization. As part of this partnership, SI will focus on enhancing UFC’s digital presence in India through a comprehensive and forward-thinking social media strategy.

Driving Indian Fan Engagement

SI will utilize its expertise in digital content creation and fan engagement strategies to expand UFC’s reach and engagement on social media platforms such as Instagram, Facebook, and YouTube. This includes creating region-specific content, localizing it for the Indian audience, and implementing it across UFC’s official social media channels in the country.

In January 2024, the partnership saw the successful launch of UFC’s official Instagram account in India. Within the first two months, the account gained over 210,000 organic followers and featured a collaboration with Bollywood superstar Vidyut Jammwal for UFC 298. Overall, there were more than 250,000 interactions and 3+ million views across all UFC India platforms.

Collaboration with Sony Sports Network India

SI also aims to boost viewership of UFC events in the Indian subcontinent through a partnership with Sony Sports Network India, UFC’s official broadcast partner. Together, SI, UFC, and Sony Sports Network will work on pre-fight week build-ups and live event coverage, engaging with celebrities and sports figures, and promoting India’s UFC athletes, Anshul Jubli and Puja Tomar.
