Why is one LoL role getting buffs? Jankos expresses frustration with ‘crybabies’

League of Legends Patch 14.6: Jankos Rants about AD Carry Buffs

Jankos recently discussed the upcoming update 14.6 patch notes for League of Legends on his stream. He took a moment to express his frustration with why one role is receiving buffs.

AD Carry Mains: The “Crybabies”

According to Jankos, AD carry mains are constantly complaining about the state of their role on Reddit, earning them the nickname “fucking crybabies.” He believes that Riot Games always gives in to their complaints and buffs the role. However, he points out that the jungle role undergoes changes every season, and there are very few complaints about it.

Disagreement with Jankos

While I enjoy watching Jankos’ streams, I have to disagree with him on this topic. He specifically mentions how teams play around AD carries in professional play, but in solo queue, it’s a different story. AD carries often struggle since they can’t deal the same amount of damage as mages and bruisers. Therefore, supports often prioritize helping their solo laners rather than AD carries. Season 14 of League of Legends has made all champions capable of one-shotting, leaving AD carries vulnerable due to their low HP and resistances.

Improvements in Patch 14.6

League of Legends Patch 14.6 brings improvements to several items, including Infinity Edge, Lord Dominik’s Regards, Mortal Reminder, and Navori Quickblades. These changes are aimed at giving AD carries more damage potential. Lord Dominik’s Regards and Mortal Reminder will have their armor penetration increased from 30 to 35 percent, while Infinity Edge’s bonus critical strike damage will receive a 10 percent boost. Additionally, Navori Quickblades’ recipe will now include a BF Sword instead of a Pickaxe and will deal five more damage. These buffs should aid AD carries in taking down enemies more quickly and surviving teamfights.
