The 2024 Nvidia Reflex iCafe Crash

Seventy teams from cities like Bangalore, Delhi, Mumbai, Chennai, and Shillong participated in the Counter-Strike 2 esports comp. Seventy teams participated using gaming PCs equipped with Gigabyte GeForce RTX 4070 Super GPUs, thanks to a partnership between Nvidia and Gigabyte.

The top 32 teams headed to the “National Playoffs” after facing off in LAN matchups. These playoffs were held every weekend in April of 2024.

By beating Colosseum Cafe of Bangalore in the finals, Global Gaming Cafe gained entry to the championship game. A 3-0 drubbing was in order as Mumbai’s Global Gaming Cafe completely humiliated their rivals. A sum of 1,00,000 Indian rupees (INR) was awarded to the victorious squad. The prize money for the runners-up, Colosseum Cafe, was sixty thousand British rupees. Team Immortal Cafe, which came in second place, received INR 40,000.
