These appointments follow the previous appointment of Richard Gale as Chief Revenue Officer in late 2023.

Richard Gale’s Contribution to FairPlay

Richard Gale, who joined FairPlay Sports Media as Chief Revenue Officer, has already made significant contributions to the company. With his extensive knowledge gained from his previous role as VP Sports at Catena Media and founder of marketing consultants The Anorak Group, Gale has played a vital role in refining the group’s commercial strategy.

Kelly Brooks Takes the Role of Chief Product Officer

Kelly Brooks, the founder and former CEO of recently acquired Quarter4, has been appointed as FairPlay Sports Media’s Chief Product Officer. In this role, Brooks will utilize her expertise in artificial intelligence (AI) and transformation to enhance FairPlay’s BetTech capabilities and integrate Quarter4’s AI potential across all relevant products and components.

Matt Robinson Takes Charge as Chief Technology Officer

Matt Robinson, who previously served as the Head of Technology at oddschecker, has been named the Chief Technology Officer of the FairPlay group. With over a decade of experience in igaming technology, Robinson will be responsible for implementing a synchronized technical strategy for the sports media network. Under his leadership, the team will focus on driving technology growth and expanding their workforce across multiple regions.

Niall Dore Joins as the Chief Financial Officer

Niall Dore, with twenty years of financial experience in scaling gaming and technology businesses, has been appointed as FairPlay Sports Media’s Chief Financial Officer. With his extensive background as Betfair’s Finance Director and more recently, CFO of SaaS business Findmypast, Dore will play a crucial role in the financial scaling and sustainability of the company.

Stuart Simms, FairPlay Sports Media’s Group CEO, expressed his excitement about the new additions to the team, highlighting the company’s unique position to make a difference in the global betting space. Simms stated that the addition of Richard, Kelly, Matt, and Niall will help execute their ambitious plans accurately and efficiently.

The four new hires align with FairPlay’s rebranding proposition as a highly scalable tech-first organization. Their combined expertise will enable FairPlay to leverage its vast data assets and cutting-edge BetTech to create a better betting ecosystem for all.
