Twitch streamer and well-known Pokétuber, Pokemon Challenges, or Jan, has some big news. He’s setting up a tournament for those kicked out or rushed into sudden death matches at the 2023 Pokémon World Championships.
Trouble at Pokémon Worlds 2023
The event, held from August 11 to 13 in Yokohama, Japan, faced issues. Many players were disqualified when checks showed their Pokémon were “genned”. This means they didn’t spend hours getting perfect IV Pokémon but focused on game plans instead. Jan decided to act and announced a VGC-style tournament with a large prize pool for those affected.
