ROCCAT Reveals Significant Roster Changes: Four Players to be Replaced

Four Members of Team ROCCAT Will Not Play in 2015 Summer Split

Team ROCCAT has announced today that four of their players from the 2015 Spring Split will not be participating in the Summer Split.

Changes in the Roster

The botlane partnership of Erik “Tabzz” Van Helvert and Lewis “Noxiak” Felix will not have their contracts renewed. Additionally, veteran support player Edward “Edward” Abgaryan is unable to obtain a valid visa for the European LCS. Former SK Gaming top laner Simon “Fredy122” Payne will also not be returning to the team.

Remaining Players for the Starting Lineup

Jungler Karim “Airwaks” Benghalia and mid-laner Felix “Betsy” Edling are the only confirmed players for the starting lineup next split. ROCCAT has stated that more information regarding their Summer split lineup will be provided in the coming weeks.

Recap of the Spring Split

During the Spring split, ROCCAT had a challenging season with only four wins in the regular season. However, they were able to secure their spot for the next split by defeating Team HUMA 3-1 in the promotion tournament. The team also made changes to their bottom lane during the season, including replacing Mohammad “Safir” Karim Tokhi with Tabzz and switching support players due to Edward’s Visa issues.
