Peanut shines as KINGZONE DragonX defeats Afreeca Freecs

KINGZONE DragonX Continues Resurgence with 2-0 Victory Over Afreeca Freecs

KINGZONE DragonX’s recent resurgence hit another high today as they secured a promising 2-0 victory against Afreeca Freecs.

Just four days ago, KINGZONE jungler Han “Peanut” Wang-ho had a disappointing performance in his team’s 2-0 loss to Griffin. Peanut struggled to secure early marks on his Kindred pick, making him virtually invisible in the game he was subbed in for.

However, following the loss to Griffin, Peanut showed a significant improvement against KT Rolster. Although he didn’t win the MVP award, his performance played a crucial role in the team’s victory.

But today, Peanut’s play went beyond impactful – it was extraordinary. Despite playing tanky junglers in both games, Peanut led KINGZONE to victory with his early ganks and mid-game engages.

In game one, Peanut’s three-minute gank as Zac gave his bot lane an early lead, which they continued to build upon throughout the game. This advantage enabled Peanut and the team to secure four Elemental Drakes, three of which were Infernal. Peanut exercised caution, using his Elastic Slingshots sparingly to minimize risks, resulting in a clean victory with only two kills and two turrets lost.

Game two wasn’t as clean, but Peanut’s performance still shined. Playing as Sejuani, Peanut’s accurate Glacial Prisons set up crucial catches, including one on Afreeca AD carry Kim “Aiming” Ha-ram, allowing KINGZONE to close out the series.

With a two-game win streak, KINGZONE DragonX will play their next match against Hanwha Life Esports on July 31.
