PawN makes a comeback to KT Rolster’s active squad

Heo “PawN” Won-seok Returns to KT Rolster’s Active Roster

After a four-week break, Heo “PawN” Won-seok is back in action as a part of KT Rolster’s active roster in the LCK Summer Split.

PawN’s Return Right on Time

PawN, who used to be KT’s starting mid laner, took some time off just before the start of the Summer Split to recover from his physical injuries. KT assured fans that PawN would return for the second half of summer, and now, as the Summer Split reaches its halfway point, PawN has made his comeback as promised.

Kingen and Mia Join KT’s Active Bench

In addition to PawN’s return, KT has also promoted trainee top laner Hwang “Kingen” Sung-hoon and support Choi “Mia” Sang-in to their active bench. Kingen is a well-known name in the Korean solo queue with two challenger-ranked accounts in the top 50.

KT is not the only team making changes to their lineup after Rift Rivals. LCK champions KINGZONE DragonX have lifted Kim “Rascal” Kwang-hee’s indefinite suspension and placed him back on their roster as their top laner.

Rascal, along with Afreeca Freecs AD carry Kim “Aiming” Ha-ram and Hanwha Life Esports jungler Yoon “SeongHwan” Seong-hwan, faced punishments from their teams in March for making offensive comments online. Both Rascal and Aiming were suspended for the rest of the 2018 Spring Split. Aiming’s suspension ended last month, and he has returned to play for Afreeca.

KT, KINGZONE, and Afreeca are all returning from a disappointing Rift Rivals tournament, where they lost to China’s LPL in the finals with a score of 2-3, alongside SK Telecom T1. However, KT remained undefeated throughout the entire event.

Afreeca will kick off week four of the LCK Summer Split on July 11 when they face Griffin, the current first-place team in the league.
