New Riot Dev Troll Meme: Bel’Veth Summons a Horde of Teemos

Riot Devs Call for Bel’Veth Buffs Ahead of Patch 12.11 Release

The Riot developers are already asking for buffs to Bel’Veth before her release in Patch 12.11.

Senior champion designer August Browning made a hilarious change to the upcoming Void champion’s kit, jokingly proposing to replace her evil minions with an army of rabid Teemos.

In response to a comment about Bel’Veth’s ultimate ability not spawning enough evil minions, Browning tweeted, “This is the buff Bel’Veth needs.”

According to Bel’Veth’s official description, her ultimate ability involves consuming Void Coral left by epic monsters from the Void, which grants her “true form” and causes minions that die in her presence to be reborn as “faithful Voidlings.”

In a video clip shared on social media, after using her ultimate, Bel’Veth wipes out a wave of minions and is followed by an endless stream of Teemos bombarding the mid lane with toxic mushrooms.

This isn’t the first time Riot devs have experimented with champion adjustments. In February 2020, League VFX artist Kevin “Sirhaian” Leroy created a meme that played with the hitbox of Nautilus’ Dredge Line ability.

Bel’Veth Expected to Hit Live Servers on June 8

Bel’Veth is set to be released on the live servers in Patch 12.11 on June 8. However, the proposed change of replacing evil minions with Teemos will not be implemented.
