Riot acknowledges Raze nerf concerns in VALORANT, highlights Blast Pack bug

Riot Games Rolls Out Hotfix to Address Raze Issues in VALORANT

Riot Games has swiftly implemented a hotfix to resolve issues that unintentionally weakened the agent Raze due to a movement speed bug related to Blast Pack and Showstopper. Additionally, the developers have fixed a glitch that caused the user interface to remain visible for players during matches.

Background

The issues arose shortly after the release of VALORANT Patch 4.10 on May 26, which introduced quality-of-life improvements, adjustments to Haven, and more enhancements to the game.

Shortly after the patch went live, players began reporting issues with Raze’s functionality.

The problem gained attention when a Reddit user posted a video demonstrating how Raze’s satchel seemed to be malfunctioning, comparing its behavior to the previous version of the game.

In the video, they highlighted the significant reduction in its efficiency. Within an hour, the developers addressed the bug and acknowledged the issue with Showstopper’s recoil, which was also resolved in the hotfix.

The developers worked swiftly to implement a hotfix to rectify the problem with Raze as it had the potential to negatively impact her performance in matches. Fortunately, disabling the agent was unnecessary, as the fix was introduced within a few hours.

Players can now enjoy the game as usual and take a look at the new Neptune skin bundle, which was added to the shop yesterday.
