League of Legends LCS Competition: Fnatic vs. Millenium Rematch
League of Legends hits London this week, with intense matches taking place in day two of the LCS competition. One of the most exciting matchups is the rematch between Fnatic and Millenium. Fnatic, the three-time champs of the league, find themselves in the uncomfortable position of defending their title from behind, as they entered the week in fifth place. Millenium, on the other hand, have shown a big rebound in talent, particularly with mid laner Adrian “Kerp” Wetekam. So, which team has the upper hand?

Millenium Holds the Advantage
Historically, Fnatic dominates this time in the season. However, this time around they are more vulnerable and Millenium is doing well in terms of season KDAs and gold income. The most surprising part is that Millenium has a one-game advantage and a better record on the red side, compared to Fnatic’s performance on the blue side.
Fall Behind in Individual Matchups
Despite Wetekam’s early dominance this summer, Millenium is starting to struggle in individual matchups, while Fnatic’s players are improving. Top laner Paul “sOAZ” Boyer and mid laner Enrique “xPeke” Cedeño Martínez have stepped up their game lately. With marksman Martin “Rekkles” Larsson consistently performing well for Fnatic, Millenium will have to significantly improve their gameplay to come out on top. Any slight mistakes from Millenium would give Fnatic a clear lead.
