Kai Cenat Takes on the Challenge of Beating Elden Ring in a Single Stream
Popular streamer Kai Cenat has set himself a daunting task – to beat the entire game of Elden Ring in a single stream. This means that he could be live for at least a week based on his initial approach.
Kai’s Ambitious Announcement
On May 8, Kai made the announcement through a cinematic trailer that he would be playing Elden Ring until he completed the game, following in the footsteps of many other streamers who have done the same since the game’s launch in February 2022. He even mentioned before going live that the stream would likely last over 100 hours, but little did he know that it would take him five hours just to overcome an optional milestone.
Early Challenges for Kai
With a customized background and outfit for his stream, Kai embarked on his action role-playing journey, only to encounter an early roadblock. Within the first few hours of playing, Kai faced off against the Tree Sentinel, an optional field boss that most players usually avoid until they gain more experience in the game. However, Kai decided to take it on without hesitation.
For five hours, Kai fought relentlessly against the Tree Sentinel, dying over 100 times in front of an audience of over 100,000 viewers. After six hours and 123 deaths, he finally emerged victorious against the Sentinel, celebrating as if he had already completed the game. He then proceeded to face Margit, the Fell Omen, requiring significantly less time and just under 200 deaths to defeat.
A Promising Start and Future Endeavors
After his second victory, Kai wrapped up his first day of gameplay by attempting to take on Godrick the Grafted. However, he decided to react to other streamers’ reactions to his gameplay and watch other videos before calling it a night. With a strong start to his Elden Ring marathon, filled with memes and determination, it’s only a matter of time before Kai triumphs over Godrick in front of more viewers than ever before.
