LoL rising star Vetheo reportedly signs with Vitality as major LEC roster changes persist.

Team Vitality Adds Former Team Heretics Midlaner Vetheo

Team Vitality is making big moves in the LEC roster with the addition of Vincent “Vetheo” Berrié from Team Heretics, as reported by Sheep Esports.

After considering multiple players, Team Vitality’s management settled on Vetheo for the position, according to the report.

Major Roster Changes in the LEC

The LEC is currently experiencing one of its biggest roster shuffles. Rekkles has left Fnatic and is transitioning to a support role. In addition, Karmine Corp is joining the league, while G2 has surprisingly decided not to make any player changes. KOI is also facing challenges after parting ways with Infinite Reality. Ibai Llanos was able to retain the KOI brand but had to disband several teams.

Reload at Key Positions for Team Vitality

Team Vitality is looking to strengthen their roster in key positions. Alongside the addition of Vetheo, they are reportedly adding Zdravets “Hylissang” Galabov, who previously played for MAD Lions. They are also dropping Luka “Perkz” Perković and promoting their academy jungler to the main roster.

Disappointing Results and High Expectations

Team Vitality attempted to assemble a super team in the LEC but fell short of expectations. Although they had a strong start in the Winter Split regular season and finished third in the Spring Split, their performance plummeted during the Summer Split regular season, resulting in a last-place finish. In international competitions like MSI and Worlds, the team only managed to win a single match. Western fans expected more success both domestically and internationally.

With new salary cap restrictions and their previous disappointing season, it remains uncertain what approach Team Vitality will take when it comes to their roster.
