LoL Balance Chief Affirms That 'Losers Queue' is Non-existent

Riot Games Developer Debunks “Loser’s Queue” Myth

Riot Games’ lead gameplay designer, Matt “Phroxzon” Leung-Harrison, has responded to conspiracy theories about a supposed “loser’s queue” in the popular game League of Legends. In a recent tweet, Phroxzon firmly refuted these claims and advised players to focus on improving their own skills, both physically and mentally.

Addressing the issue, Phroxzon made it clear that the existence of a loser’s queue is simply not true. He explained that the matchmaking system in League of Legends is solely based on player ratings, and there is no intentional grouping of bad players to make others lose more. Therefore, consistent losses do not result from the matchmaking system working against players on purpose.
