LGD Gaming Gets First Win at League of Legends World Championship Play-In Stage
LGD Gaming, China’s LPL fourth seed, secured their first victory today at the play-in stage of the League of Legends World Championship. Despite initial losses to PSG Talon and Rainbow7, LGD came out strong against V3, dominating the game with their bottom laner, Ha “Kramer” Jong-hun. Kramer, who had struggled in the previous matches, turned the tables with an impressive KDA of 10/0/6, leading LGD to victory.
LGD Shows Map-Wide Dominance
Against V3, LGD displayed a polished performance and dominated the Rift. Although V3 put up a strong resistance, LGD’s superior performance proved too much to handle. LGD only lost one tower throughout the 36-minute match while amassing a 12,000 gold lead and securing an Ocean Soul.
Path to the Main Event
With a record of 1-2, LGD still has a chance to finish the round-robin stage with an even record if they defeat Unicorns of Love later today. However, tiebreaker scenarios may come into play for LGD to advance to the main event.
Redemption Against UOL
LGD’s fate hangs in the balance as they seek redemption against a strong UOL team, which is on track to advance directly to the group stage. The pressure is mounting for LGD Gaming, but their first win provides a glimmer of hope.
