LCS 2024 Roster Updates: Tracking Confirmed and Reported Player Transfers

The 2024 LCS offseason has begun, and teams in the League of Legends community are making big changes to their rosters. Free agency news is at the forefront of the offseason, with teams looking to build top-tier rosters by signing superstar players, taking risks on rookie talent, and securing exceptional coaching staff. As the year comes to a close, players will be saying goodbye to their current teams, making their debuts in new organizations, and finding themselves in new homes.

Here are the reported and confirmed roster moves for the 2024 LCS offseason:

100 Thieves

  • Nov. 3: Ssumday becomes a free agent.
  • Nov. 7: Busio is reportedly leaving 100T to join FlyQuest.
  • Nov. 11: 100 Thieves is reportedly signing River as their new starting jungler.
  • Nov. 17: Ssumday, Closer, Doublelift, and Busio part ways with 100 Thieves.

Cloud9

  • Oct. 10: Hai becomes C9’s new team manager.
  • Nov. 2: Zven officially becomes a free agent and switches back to the AD carry role for 2024.
  • Nov. 3: Jojopyun reportedly joins C9 as the new starting mid laner.
  • Nov. 4: C9 reportedly locks in Berserker and Vulcan as their starting bottom lane duo for 2024.
  • Nov. 7: Fudge is reportedly sticking with C9 as the team’s starting top laner.
  • Nov. 21: EMENES departs from C9 and League of Legends for military service.
  • Nov. 23: Fudge, Blaber, Berserker, and Vulcan are officially part of C9’s 2024 roster.
  • Nov. 24: Jojopyun joins C9 and will step into the mid role.

  • Oct. 22: Jensen becomes a free agent after a difficult season.

Evil Geniuses

  • Nov. 3: Jojopyun reportedly leaves EG and joins C9 as the new starting mid laner.
  • Nov. 8: Sheiden is reportedly becoming EG’s starting jungler for 2024.
  • Nov. 12: IgNar is set to leave the LCS and join Excel Esports in LEC.
  • Nov. 19: Jojopyun reportedly received an offer to join Liiv SANDBOX in LCK before agreeing to join C9.
  • Nov. 20: Evil Geniuses leaves the LCS as the league shifts to an eight-team format for 2024.

FlyQuest

  • Sept. 9: VicLa and coach Ssong officially leave FlyQuest.
  • Oct. 1: Prince officially parts ways with FlyQuest.
  • Nov. 4: Inspired reportedly joins FlyQuest, pushing Spica into the free agency market.
  • Nov. 6: Bwipo reportedly returns to pro play with FlyQuest in 2024.
  • Nov. 7: FlyQuest signs the bottom lane duo of Massu and Busio to complete their roster.
  • Nov. 7: Inspired becomes an NA resident, allowing FlyQuest to sign one more import player.
  • Nov. 14: Jensen reportedly joins FlyQuest as the team’s mid-laner.

Golden Guardians

  • Nov. 20: Golden Guardians leaves the LCS as the league shifts to an eight-team format for 2024.

Immortals

  • Oct. 31: Armao and Mask are reportedly joining Immortals’ starting roster for 2024.
  • Nov. 26: Immortals announce their completed lineup including Armao, Mask, Castle, and Olleh who will be joining Tactical.

NRG

  • Nov. 6: NRG releases general manager Jonathon McDaniel and team manager Myra Davis.
  • Nov. 17: Huhi reportedly set to join reigning LCS champs NRG from Golden Guardians.

Shopify Rebellion

  • Nov. 9: Shopify Rebellion is reportedly keeping Bugi, Insanity, and head coach Reven from TSM’s original lineup, and is also reportedly signing FakeGod to their roster.
  • Nov. 11: Shopify reportedly signs Zeyzal from the Disguised Challengers roster.

Team Liquid

  • Nov. 7: Impact is reportedly returning to Team Liquid’s starting roster for 2024.
  • Nov. 24: TL reportedly keeps APA and will build around the academy player for 2024.
  • Nov. 25: Korean veteran UmTi joins the squad, while Yeon extends his contract with the org.

Other

  • Nov. 13: Darshan announces his retirement from League of Legends.
