Jin Air Green Wings Expands League of Legends Roster with KaKAO and Nova

Jin Air Green Wings has expanded its League of Legends roster by adding jungler Lee “KaKAO” Byung-kwon and support Park “Nova” Chan-ho. This move fills the vacant support role left by Kwon “Wraith” Ji-min’s retirement from professional play. Nova, a rookie with successful experience in the Korean challenger scene, will be joining the team.

KaKAO’s Return to Korea

KaKAO, a legendary jungler who previously won OGN Champions Summer 2014, will be sharing his spot with Jin Air’s current jungler, Eom “UmTi” Seong-hyeon. After playing abroad for the past four years, KaKAO will be making his return to Korea. He has played in various regions, including China, Europe, and Turkey. KaKAO’s last international appearance was in the 2015 World Championship with LPL team Invictus Gaming.

Jin Air’s Performance in the LCK Spring Split

In the recent LCK Spring Split, Jin Air finished in seventh place, falling three wins short of making it to the playoffs. However, they were able to play spoiler with an upset victory over ROX Tigers in the final week of the regular season, which allowed KSV to secure a playoff spot.

Future Roster Changes and LCK Summer Split

It is unknown if Jin Air has any plans for additional roster changes before the LCK Summer Split begins. The exact start date for the Summer Split has not been confirmed, but it is expected to return in late May.
