J Team Takes First Blood in LMS Playoffs
The LMS playoffs have reached the first round’s conclusion, and J Team has emerged as the victor.
Formerly known as the Taipei Assassins, J Team clinched a 3-1 victory over Machi Esports in a thrilling series. This victory marks the team’s progress towards the Spring Split’s conclusion.
Machi Esports displayed dominance in the first game, securing every dragon and Baron in a grueling 44-minute match against J Team.
However, J Team quickly bounced back and capitalized on their opponent’s mistakes in subsequent games. They improved their macro game and communication, punishing Machi Esports and winning games two, three, and four.
Machi Esports still managed to contend for major objectives, claiming valuable fire and earth dragons. But J Team was equally successful in securing low-tier dragons as well as the crucial Baron buff, leaving Machi little hope for a comeback.
In the second round of the LMS Spring Playoffs on April 22, J Team will go head-to-head with ahq e-Sports Club. The winner of this match will then advance to face Flash Wolves in the final on April 23.
The team that emerges victorious in the Playoff Tournament will represent the LMS region at the Mid-Season Invitational in Brazil on April 28.
