Faker and T1 Unveil Champion Picks for League of Legends Worlds 2023 Skins

T1 Reveals Nominees for 2023 League of Legends World Championship Skins

The recently concluded 2023 League of Legends World Championship saw T1 emerge as the champions with a clean 3-0 victory over Weibo. Now, T1 will have the opportunity to choose the champions for their skins to commemorate their legacy. Faker, T1’s mid laner, will receive his fourth skin, following his wins in the previous world championships with Zed, Ryze, and Syndra.

Early Picks for T1’s Skins

During the Worlds Finals media day, the T1 roster was asked about their preferred skins. However, these picks are not final, as Riot has the ultimate decision. Nonetheless, here are the early nominees for T1’s champion skins:

  • Zeus: Jayce or Yone
  • Oner: Lee Sin
  • Faker: Undecided, but wants to choose a skin that fans will enjoy
  • Gumayusi: Jinx
  • Keria: Bard or Renata

Faker’s “choice” is particularly interesting, as it follows a trend set by Doinb in 2019. Doinb expressed his desire to involve the community in selecting his championship skin and eventually chose Malphite.

Possible Picks for Faker’s Skin

If fans have a say in Faker’s skin, Ahri could be a popular choice. Faker even played Ahri in the grand finals of this year’s championship. Another candidate could be Azir, although the champion already has an SKT Worlds skin from 2015 in honor of former mid laner Easyhoon.

League fans can expect to learn more about the final selection of T1’s Worlds skins in 2024.
