2019 Spring Week Four Power Rankings: LEC

The LEC Establishes Hierarchy After Four Weeks

After just four weeks of play in the new LEC, the teams have already settled into a clear hierarchy. There are top teams that dominate, middle teams that can surprise, and struggling teams at the bottom.

Easy Rankings for Analysts

The rankings for the teams have become much clearer compared to the Spring Split of last year. Our League analysts have assigned points to each team, making it easier to rank them. The rankings after week four are as follows:

1)G2 Esports40
2)Team Vitality35
3)FC Schalke 0432
4)Origen27
5)Splyce25
6)Misfits21
7)Fnatic14
7)SK Gaming14
9)Excel Esports8
10)Rogue4

Tiers Breakdown

Here’s a breakdown of each tier:

Bottoms again: Excel, Rogue

Things are not going well for Excel and Rogue. Both teams had chances last week but failed to perform. Excel struggled with vision control and preventing flanks, while Rogue is making roster changes, potentially benching a player they recently bought.

Purgatory: Fnatic and SK

Fnatic and SK are currently tied because it’s uncertain which team is better. Both teams secured victories last week, but they need to perform better to move up from seventh place.

Three card monte: Origen, Splyce, Misfits

Origen, Splyce, and Misfits are in a constant shuffle in the middle of the table. Last week, it was Misfits on top, but now it’s Origen’s turn. Splyce has a chance to rise to the top of this group with upcoming matches against Fnatic and Excel.

No change at the top: G2, Vitality, Schalke

G2 Esports, Team Vitality, and FC Schalke 04 continue to dominate and win. The top teams need to focus on adapting to the meta to maintain their strong positions in the league.
