The International Esports Federation Increased Prize Pool for World Esports Championship (WEC) 2024 Revealed
The International Esports Federation (IESF) is excited to announce the bigger prize pool for this year’s highly anticipated World Esports Championship (WEC). The event will take place in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia from November 11th to 19th.
In order to support the growth of the esports community, IESF and the Saudi Esports Federation have teamed up to secure an impressive prize pool of $1,000,000 for the championship. This is the largest amount of prize money ever offered in the tournament’s history.
For the first time, the prize pool will be shared among the top 8 teams in each game title and category. Additionally, all 16 participating teams in PUBG Mobile will also receive a portion of the prize pool.
Our focus is on promoting unity among our athletes and celebrating the collective achievements of the esports community. Compared to the 2021 edition, the World Championship prize pool has increased tenfold, and we expect it to continue growing in the future.
