Kambi Group Chair, Lars Stugemo, Steps Down
Kambi Group plc’s Chair of the Board, Lars Stugemo, has announced that he will not seek re-election at the Kambi Annual General Meeting in 2024. Stugemo will be stepping down, and the Nomination Committee has proposed that Kambi co-founder Anders Ström take his place as Chair.
Immediate Appointment of Anders Ström
The Board of Directors has appointed Anders Ström as Chair with immediate effect until the AGM in 2024. Stugemo will be leaving the Board, but he will continue to serve as a member of the Nomination Committee on behalf of Kambi’s largest shareholder, Veralda Investment Ltd.
A Remarkable Journey and New Leadership
After 14 years with Kambi, including almost a decade as Chair, Stugemo has decided not to stand for re-election. He believes it is time to pass on the leadership to someone else, and fortunately, Anders Ström is ready to step up. Both Stugemo and Kambi are grateful for their journey together.
A Chair with Vast Industry Experience
Anders Ström, in addition to being a co-founder and shareholder of Kambi, brings extensive industry experience to the role of Chair. He founded Kindred Group in 1997 and has been a Kambi Board member since the beginning. Ström is honored to have been asked to take on the role and is excited about the company’s recent achievements and technological breakthroughs.
