Dota 2 icon Dendi joins B8 Esports after partnership with Kick as platform sponsors

Dendi Joins Kick as Title Sponsor for B8 Esports

Popular Dota 2 player Dendi has signed a new deal with streaming site Kick, making it the title sponsor for his organization, B8 Esports. Dendi is not the only player making this move.

Dendi’s Path to Success

Although Dendi’s performance in professional Dota 2 has faded, his streaming content has kept him relevant and popular among gamers. Despite struggling to build a competitive lineup for his organization, Dendi’s content creation has remained strong.

Kick Becomes B8 Esports’ Title Sponsor

With the challenges faced by B8 Esports during Russia’s conflict with Ukraine, Dendi has been open about the struggles his organization has endured. However, with Kick now sponsoring B8, Dendi is optimistic about the future and the ability to pursue their passion.

Exclusivity and the Future

Dendi will now stream on Kick’s platform, although it is unclear if there will be any exclusivity involved. For most streamers who have made the move to Kick, their contracts allow them to broadcast on multiple platforms. However, since Dendi’s team is now directly sponsored by Kick, there may be some level of exclusivity in his streaming activities.

Another notable Dota 2 player, Arteezy, made a similar move to Kick without any additional sponsorship arrangements. This decision, however, led to a decrease in viewership for Arteezy, despite being a popular player.

While Dendi currently averages 2,500 viewers on Twitch, he could potentially see a decrease in viewership as he begins building his channel on Kick from scratch.

Dendi’s Kick sponsorship and B8’s plans for the future will likely be discussed in more detail during his upcoming streams.
