The Fortnite Cube Reveals Another Rune

The Fortnite cube has left yet another rune on the map, this time between Tilted Towers and Dusty Divot.

This is the third rune that the cube has burned into the ground since it started doing so last week. There is speculation that this process could happen at least four more times, leading up to an event that will mark the end of season five and the start of season six.

Interestingly, some mobile players correctly predicted the location of the third rune. By lowering the game’s quality on mobile, the grass is marked where the runes have been and potentially will be placed.

This rune functions just like the previous ones, so there is nothing new on that front. What’s certain at this point is that Epic Games is teasing significant events with the giant purple cube.

It’s anyone’s guess as to what could happen in the next few weeks. With update 5.40 scheduled to release tomorrow morning, we may learn more in the coming days.
