A New Shotgun Coming to Fortnite
Fortnite players can expect a new shotgun to be added to the game in the near future, possibly as early as tomorrow.
Today, players were teased with news of the upcoming weapon. The Double Barrel Shotgun will come in both Epic and Legendary varieties.
According to the message, the Double Barrel Shotgun can be rapidly fired twice in succession. It has a capacity of two shells that can be shot consecutively.
The introduction of this new shotgun may address concerns among players regarding the dominance of submachine guns in recent weeks. Shotguns have undergone numerous nerfs and changes, so the Double Barrel Shotgun might help level the playing field.
This will be the second Epic and Legendary shotgun added to the game since the introduction of the Heavy Shotgun a few months ago. It will be interesting to see how both shotguns compare in battle.
The 5.2 update for Fortnite is scheduled to release tomorrow at 3am CT. The Double Barrel Shotgun is expected to be included in this update once the servers go live shortly after.
