Fortnite’s Deep Freeze Bundle Expired Today

Fortnite: Battle Royale’s Deep Freeze Bundle Leaving the In-Game Shop

The Deep Freeze cosmetics bundle in Fortnite: Battle Royale is set to leave the in-game Shop today, according to a message in the game’s News tab. Epic Games announced on Twitter that the bundle will no longer be available in the game after January 21.

About the Deep Freeze Bundle

The Deep Freeze bundle includes the Frostbite outfit, Freezing Point back bling, Chill-axe pickaxe, Cold Front glider, and 1,000 V-bucks. Initially, this pack was only available with PS4, Xbox One, and Nintendo Switch consoles that included Fortnite pre-installed. However, Epic Games quickly made the items available for purchase separately on all platforms.

Differences from Previous Bundles

The Deep Freeze bundle stood out from previous cosmetic bundles in Fortnite. It offered more items, including a glider and pickaxe, and included 1,000 V-Bucks instead of the usual 600 V-Bucks found in Starter Packs. However, some players felt that the price was too high compared to the typical cost of Starter Packs, which is around $5.

Upcoming Replacement Bundle

With the Deep Freeze bundle leaving the Store, Epic Games is preparing to introduce a new bundle. While the company has not made an official announcement yet, leaks suggest that the upcoming bundle may be the Cobalt Starter Pack. Stay tuned for more information in the 7.20 Content Update tomorrow.
