Fortnite: Battle Royale might introduce customizable vehicles

Incredible Update: Fortnite’s New All-Terrain Kart

Fortnite: Battle Royale recently received a major update, version 5.0, which introduced the game’s first proper vehicle.

Although Shopping Carts had been available in the game for some time, they didn’t quite qualify as traditional vehicles. However, last week saw the introduction of the All-Terrain Kart (ATK) in the game.

A Perfect Match: ATKs and the New Golf Course Point of Interest

It’s no coincidence that ATKs were introduced alongside the new golf course point of interest. These vehicles are perfect for a day on the Lazy Links.

Just as players are getting accustomed to the ATK, new data mined information suggests that the vehicles might receive a new look in the near future.

The reliable Twitter account @FNBRLeaks discovered some file names related to vehicle customization. Currently, the game files only reveal a llama skin as a potential re-skin for the Kart—the purple and blue llama is an iconic character in the Fortnite game.

Considering the numerous skins, back blings, gliders, and other cosmetics already available, this could be another opportunity for players to personalize their experience and spend money in the game. While Fortnite is free to play, cosmetics play a significant role in its culture.

The Fortnite Phenomenon: Record-breaking Revenue

Fortnite has become a certified cultural phenomenon, and players are willing to spend a massive amount of money on it. In fact, the game made a whopping $318 million in May alone, setting a new record for console gaming.
