Epic Games to Bring $1.5 Million Fortnite Tournament to PAX West
Get ready for the ultimate showdown at PAX West! Epic Games is making its way to the event, and it’s not coming empty-handed. It’s bringing the highly popular game, Fortnite, and a colossal prize pool of $1.5 million.
How to Enter the Tournament
If you’re attending PAX West, you have a chance to join in on the action. The final Summer Skirmish tournament will take place at the Washington State Convention Center in Seattle. All you need to do is register on-site each day starting at 10am CT.
Qualifiers and Finals
The tournament will be divided into three days of qualifiers, followed by evening final qualifiers. These final qualifiers will be broadcasted on Fortnite channels from 8pm to 11pm CT every night. The top 33 players from the final qualifiers will proceed to the PAX West Finals on Monday, Sept. 3, with matches starting at 1pm CT.

For those seeking a more relaxed form of competition, Epic Games is also bringing its own Lazy Links mini golf course to PAX West. Completing the Fortnite-themed nine-hole course will reward you with an exclusive set of four Pinny Arcade Fortnite pins, as shown above.
