Although Fortnite has experienced significant growth since the release of Battle Royale in September, it was last month when the game achieved new all-time highs in hours watched and average channels. The graph reveals that the game accumulated over 100 million hours of viewership and was streamed on more than 7,500 channels.

These numbers easily surpassed the previous records set by games like League of Legends, PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds, and Counter-Strike: Global Offensive.

What sets Fortnite apart is its mainstream appeal, surpassing even the popularity of those games in just eight months. This includes the release of Fortnite’s PvE version in July 2017.

With the recent full release on the iOS App Store, the mobile version of Fortnite is expected to further solidify its dominance in the gaming world this year. As long as Epic Games continues to provide consistent content and balance updates, it appears that the game’s success will have no end in sight.
