The highly-anticipated PC version of the critically acclaimed game Final Fantasy 16 is well on its way, according to the game’s producer, Naoki Yoshida. In an interview with Game Informer, Yoshida revealed that FF16 is in its final stages of optimization and will have relatively high system requirements.

Release Date Still Pending

Yoshida provided an update on the progress of the Final Fantasy 16 PC port during his conversation with Game Informer on March 11. Although the game is nearing completion, an official release date has not yet been announced. Yoshida explained, “Currently, we are focusing on the final stages of optimization, and the release date will depend on this optimization as well as the necessary hardware requirements for players to fully enjoy Square’s latest Final Fantasy installment.” He also mentioned that the PC specifications for the game are expected to be relatively high, which is common for current-generation releases.
