Multiversus Players are Desperate for One Battle Pass Adjustment to Prevent Frustrating Roadblocks

MultiVersus players are dissatisfied with the current battle pass system, which is limiting their progression. They are fighting for improvements that will allow them to move forward faster and overcome the obstacles they confront.

Season one of MultiVersus is already underway, and it includes a fight pass with a variety of awards, including the legendary Jason Voorhees from Friday the 13th. Players can also unlock a variety of Variants and earn money. However, completing the battle pass has proven to be a slow and arduous procedure.

The combat pass in MultiVersus is mostly based on fulfilling daily tasks to increase player levels, however this strategy is causing players to feel stuck. Despite completing the Weekly and Event Missions, they are unable to progress.

On May 29, one person took to Reddit to express their dissatisfaction with the Battle Pass system. They said that, despite playing numerous matches, they saw no progress in the battle pass. Many other gamers agreed, expressing similar frustrations. The post earned over 1,400 votes and over 150 comments. Some people questioned why the developer, Player First Games, changed the battle pass technique to focus on chores rather than providing playtime, as it had in the beta.

Other players expressed their discontent with being forced to play a specific style, arguing for the option to grind extensively in order to obtain the coveted Uber Jason skin. This argument has merit because gamers should be able to obtain their desired rewards through dedicated effort. The battle pass’s emphasis on missions frequently leaves players with few options for advancement, especially after quickly completing Daily and Weekly Missions. Furthermore, at launch, a big fraction of Event Missions focused on daily logins, exacerbating the unhappiness.

This is analogous to the event incentives for The Joker’s Ruse, where only a few chores are assigned each day, limiting players’ progress toward the ultimate reward of a Wonder Woman skin.

Players hope that Player First Games will listen to their feedback and make adjustments to the battle pass system in the future. Until then, they must find ways to keep themselves occupied until the process is restarted. MultiVersus players anticipate changes to the battle pass that will allow them to advance faster and have a more enjoyable gameplay experience.
