Dragon Ball: Sparking! ZERO has been in the works for quite some time, and we now have a confirmed release date for the upcoming fighting game. It will officially premiere on October 11, 2024, as revealed during Summer Game Fest today.

The teaser for this announcement included various notable characters and scenes from the Dragon Ball series. The gameplay revolves around violent battles that culminate in the ultimate Dragon Ball showdown.
The battle is lively and action-packed, with over 160 different characters to fight as. With so many characters to pick from, the fighting options are practically limitless, and you can vary things up as you see fit. This is also the largest roster of any Dragon Ball game to date, giving players plenty of space to experiment with different units.
Every combat is fierce and fast-paced, and you can employ a variety of strategies and skills to win. It is fast-paced and dramatic, with vivid graphics that properly capture the Dragon Ball atmosphere.
The Summer Game Fest 2024 teaser also revealed some pre-order bonus items available if you opt to buy the game before its official release date. This comprises six characters that can be unlocked early and one mysterious playable unit. Even though the release date is still a few weeks away, it is now available for pre-order, so you can claim these goodies at any time before the official debut on October 11.
When Dragon Ball: Sparking! ZERO is launched, it will be available on many platforms, including PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC via Steam. These are the only confirmed platforms, however it may appear on others in the future.
