SCUF Gaming Introduces the SCUF Nomad: Revolutionizing Mobile Gaming

In the realm of gaming controllers, SCUF Gaming has established itself as one of the biggest names. Now, the company is venturing into the world of mobile gaming with the groundbreaking SCUF Nomad.

A Game-Changing Controller with Unique Features

Similar to other SCUF controllers, the Nomad offers customizable rear paddles and anti-drift thumbsticks. What sets it apart is the inclusion of a subscription-free app for seamless pairing. Additionally, the Nomad is designed to be “compatible with many cases,” addressing a common issue faced by mobile phone users when using controllers.

“As gaming continues to evolve, SCUF remains committed to delivering cutting-edge solutions that empower gamers to elevate their performance and enjoyment across all platforms,” said Jake Tenorio, director of product marketing at SCUF Gaming. “Mobile gaming is an exciting new category for SCUF, with gaming continuing its rapid convergence across mobile, console, and PC.”

The Nomad boasts full-sized thumbsticks that offer precise accuracy and control. With anti-drift Hall effect components, gamers can expect sustained performance during intense gameplay. To enhance the gaming experience further, SCUF’s app acts as a central hub for games from the App Store and Remote Play apps. It also allows for the creation of multiple profiles with customizable settings such as trigger sensitivity, thumbstick responsiveness, and button remapping.

Excitingly, the SCUF Nomad will be priced at $99, placing it on par with another popular mobile controller, the Backbone One. This pricing strategy aims to make a SCUF controller accessible to a larger audience, as stated by Jake Tenorio.

The Nomad supports USB-C charging and works seamlessly with iPhones running iOS 16 or higher. However, it is important to note that it is not compatible with Android devices. Each Nomad purchase includes additional thumbstick grips, an adapter for iPhone 14/15, a USB-C cable, and a one-year warranty for any potential issues.

Interested gamers can pre-order the SCUF Nomad now, with an estimated shipping date of July 8.
