Virtus Pro Keeps Dota 2 Roster for Upcoming Season

Russia’s Top Dota 2 Roster Stays Intact for Next Competitive Season

Russia’s most successful Dota 2 team, Virtus Pro, has announced that they will not be making any changes to their roster for the upcoming competitive season, despite their recent performance at The International 7.

The Virtus Pro roster, featuring star players Ilya “lil” Ilyuk and Vladimir “No[o]ne” Minenko, has enjoyed a strong year of competition, including a grand final appearance at the Valve-sponsored Kiev Major in April.

At The International 7, Virtus Pro finished third in their group, securing a place in the upper bracket for the playoffs. They dominated fourth-place finishers LGD in the first round but were defeated by LGD.Forever Young in the next round. Unfortunately, their tournament run ended when they were narrowly defeated by eventual champions, Team Liquid.

By retaining their successful roster, Virtus Pro has solidified their position as the top team in the CIS region, leaving other teams with a challenging task of assembling a roster that can compete with them in the upcoming season.
