The most sought-after items in Dota 2 post TI7

Team Liquid emerged as the new Dota 2 world champions, sweeping the grand final and taking home the seventh Aegis of Champions along with almost $11 million in prize money. The tournament itself was filled with excitement, with only five unpicked heroes and an emphasis on laning and ganking in the early game for a chaotic mid game.

Now that the tournament is over, the inevitable roster shuffle begins. Teams are already looking for potential pickups and star players to build around. Here are some players that organizations are likely eyeing during the post-TI commotion.

Hard carries

– Artour “Arteezy” Babaev: Known for his skill as a core player and marketability as a streamer, Arteezy is always sought after. It’s no surprise that other teams are considering him, especially with Evil Geniuses’ disappointing performance at TI7.
– Roman “Resolut1on” Fominok: Resolut1on played a key role in Team Empire’s top 8 finish at TI7. With Planet Odd disbanding, he’s now entertaining offers from different organizations.
– Du “Monet” Peng: Monet’s performance for LGD.Forever Young was impressive, helping the team secure a third-place finish. Given the opportunities in the Chinese scene, he might end up playing for a different organization.

Midlaners

– Anathan “ana” Pham: Despite OG’s underwhelming performance at TI7, ana had a successful season and may be considering other options.
– Song “Sccc” Chun: Sccc played a crucial role in Newbee’s run to the grand finals, making him an attractive target for other teams in the Chinese scene.
– Lu “Maybe” Yao: While Maybe has been with LGD Gaming for a while, he may be looking for more success in his quest for a TI win or a Valve Major.
– Xie “Super” Junhao: Super’s performance for LFY at TI7 was incredible, and even at 24, he still has a lot to offer. Expect to see him in the main LGD team after the shuffle.

Offlaners

– Maurice “KheZu” Guttmann: KheZu, known for his consistency and stability, has already left Team Secret, so his next destination is yet to be determined.
– Damien “kpii” Chok: As a valuable offlaner for Newbee, kpii’s performance at TI7 could attract offers from other teams despite finishing in second place.
– Gustav “s4” Magnusson: S4, a former International champion, still has a lot to offer and is sure to generate transfer rumors until OG make an announcement.

Supports

– Yazied “YapzOr” Jaradat: YapzOr has been exceptional since joining Team Secret, and while he is still with the team officially, he might receive offers from other organizations.
– Ludwig “zai” Wåhlberg: EG will likely try to keep zai, but rumors suggest he may return to Team Secret.
– Jesse “JerAx” Vainikka: JerAx’s play has made him one of the best position four players in the west, and OG will likely prioritize retaining him.
– Tue “Ah fu” Soon Chuan: After his outstanding performance with LFY at TI7, Ah fu is likely to remain in the LFY lineup or potentially move to the main squad.
– Andreas Franck “Cr1t-” Nielsen: Cr1t-, despite EG’s disappointing TI7 performance, is a skilled support player. He may consider joining a team that needs a more headstrong captain.
– Fu “Q” Bin: Known for his drafting skills, Q may attract teams looking to strengthen their drafting department.
