Valve launches new prediction event for The International 10 qualifiers
In preparation for the regional qualifiers of The International 10, Valve has introduced a new prediction event in the Dota 2 client. Players can now visit the Watch section of the game client and make predictions for the outcomes of each of the six regions participating in Dota’s biggest stage in August.
For each of the regions (China, Europe, CIS, North America, South America, and Southeast Asia), players will choose the team they believe is most likely to win. This will determine which teams secure the final invites to TI10 from each region.
Running from June 23 to July 10, the regional qualifiers will reward players with 1,000 Shards for each correct prediction they make. Shards are an in-game currency that can be exchanged for rewards from the in-game Shard Shop.
